Fender Cabronita Telecaster 60th Anniversary
"Tele-bration" Edition
For a guitar that was made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Leo Fender's Telecaster, the Cabronita takes quite a few artistic liberties in regards to classic Tele configurations. The headstock, body and neck shape are instantly recognizable but that seems to be were the similarities end. The aptly named Cabronita ("Little Bastard" in English) features some awesomely peculiar features not often seen on a tele. For example the guitar comes with a pair of TV Jones Filtertron pickups which are more commonly found on Gretsch instruments. Other notable differences is the distinct short pickguard and the lack of tone control. Overall the final result is a guitar that is strikingly new, but has undeniable shades of Leo Fender's unmistakable touch.
