Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 Reissue 2004
For your consideration, we present one of the finest Les Paul R9's we have ever encountered at Keith Holland Guitars.
Of the dozens and dozens of Les Paul guitars that come through this shop, own owner can attest to this being amongst the greatest he's ever played. From its balance to its tone, to its looks, this R9 has only narrowly escaped Mr. Witmeyer's grasp and is now for sale on consignment on our sales floor.
This guitar's serial number tracks to 2004 as the 1083rd guitar in production. The top is wonderfully flamed and almost quilted in certain lighting situations. The pickup compliment is stock to this model, Gibson's Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups in the neck and bridge positions, and exemplifies the "IT" tone of what a Les Paul SHOULD be. The neck is "50's" in profile, but not the "baseball bat" you would normally expect; this one is chunky-yet playable with plenty of fretlife left to spare. Get your hands on this example -the Umami of all Les Pauls at Keith Holland Guitars- and experience this R9's excellence for yourself.

The control knobs show signs of internal cracking but are securely fastened to the pots. The face of the headstock shows some minor-yet-noticeable scratches and the edge of the headstock bears several minor dents. This package includes an original Gibson case and case candy as shown in photographs.
