Jackson Professional Series Dinky Reverse 1992 - Cobalt Blue + Seymour Duncan And DiMarzio Pickups
For your consideration, we present a early-1990's shred icon with one of the most reconizable headstock silhouettes in guitar history.
Ask any 1990's guitar freak about the shreddiest guitars of the era and you'll more than likely have one of them mention the Dinky Reverse. With its blade-thin neck profile and headstock pointed towards the heavens, this guitar has cemented itself into the brains of awestruck kids and metalheads alike as a fairly-attainable weapon of sonic destruction.
This example is in Very-Good condition and has miraculously survived the era and lives to tell the tale of shreddage with minor nicks and dings and passable modifications. The original Schaller-style Jackson tuning machines and original Schaller "Licensed by Floyd Rose" German-produced floating tremolo are intact and fully functional for reliving all those divebombs of days of yore. The impossibly-thin maple neck packs 24 Jumbo frets in fantastic condition with many years of life left - at about a 90% condition - and the reverse of the neck is free of any dents or dings. The body of this one bears minor dents with no instances of chips or paintloss and clear pickwear in the expected locations but only visible when held to the light. The heart of this beast has been modified with aftermarket pickups from the best: a Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB in the bridge position and a DiMarzion DP100 Super Distortion in the neck position. The bridge hardware shows some tarnish from age. The bobbins of the pickups have some minor pickwear and their poles show some minor tarnish. The face of the headstock has some minor finish swirls and scratches and there is a minor dent at the tip of the headstock. This guitar has been inspected and set-up by our expert techs. This package includes the original Jackson hard case and the original tremolo bar. Should you require more photos of this instrument, please reach out to us via Reverb or directly at the shop.
