Kustom K250 Bass Stack - 1970's
Take a trip in the Way-Back Machine when bass cabinets loomed like monoliths!
This vintage Kustom rig will loosen fillings and shake loose kidney stones! This K250 boasts 125 watts of solid-state transistor power featuring 2 channels with high and low inputs for each. Channel one has a volume, bass, and treble control with a 3-way "Selectone" knob for EQ curve control, while Channel 2 has a more-standard 3-band EQ accompanying its volume control. Each treble knob doubles down as a pull-pull "Bright" switch. The reverse of the head is equally simplistic, with a standard 3-4ohm speaker output, Audio Power Module output, and tape output, all in 1/4" format. And, as expected, this Kustom is clad in decadent black Tuck & Roll Naugahyde.
This package includes TWO matching cabinets housing 1x18" apiece in a refrigerator-sized enclosure. The non-powered 1-18B cabinet is in Very-Good to Excellent condition, with intact Naugahyde, functional handles, and all four original casters intact. The X1-18B cabinet with Audio Power Module is in Good condition, showing some moderate wear to the Naugahyde, missing handles, and one missing caster. The Audio Power Module within this cabinet provides an additional 125 watts of power to this already MAMMOTH-proportioned rig.
This rig has been tested and functions as intended. This package includes original covers for both cabs and the head unit. This unit is being sold AS-IS and as a grouping only; please do not ask to separate the grouping.
