Martin Backpacker Steel String 1990s - Natural
For your consideration, we present a near-pristine example of the best-selling travel guitar of all time.
The Martin Backpacker certainly turned heads in the guitar community when it made its debut in 1992. The radical new design from the otherwise-traditional C.F. Martin company won the hearts and hands of players around the world and has since become the archetype of the "travel" guitar genre. This particular example is from the first generation of Backpacker -serial number 78,908- and we estimate its production year to be in the mid-1990's to possibly the early-2000's. The 24" scale, ultra-compact body, and robust-yet-player-friendly integrated neck are ready as ever to accompany your merry band of travellers on your next outdoor adventure.
This guitar is in Excellent condition, showing signs of very light use and careful storage. There is a small scratch on the top of the body (photographed). There is a small-but-noticeable dent on the bottom tip of the flared body (photographed). This package includes a gig bag and a strap. This guitar has been inspected and set-up by our expert techs.
