Nash S-63 "RAY-6" 2007 - Lake Placid Blue Medium/Heavy Aging
from Nash:
With its instantaneously recognizable body shape, extremely stable tremolo, and three single coil pickups, our S Model guitars are not only classic but versatile as well. While paying homage to the near perfect original design, we incorporated a few changes to update both playability and sound. We have added a higher output bridge pickup and a much needed tone control. Together, these modifications provide enhanced flexibility and overall balance.
Our S63 introduces the vast palette of colors from the heyday of the 1960's car culture. Alder bodies and rosewood necks are standard, though ash and maple may also be used. 3-ply pickguards in White, Mint, Tortoise, Black and Pearl add to the wide variety of looks of our most popular S Model.
Alder Body in Metallic Lake Placid Blue Nitro
Medium/Heavy Aging
Maple Neck
Rosewood Fingerboard
"Medium C" Neck Profile
White Dot Inlays
21x Medium Jumbo Frets
3x Lollar/Nash Single Coil Pickups
Gotoh (?) Vintage-style 6-Screw Tremolo
Gotoh Vintage-style Tuning Machines
CTS Pots
CLR Switch
Sprague Orange Drop Cap
25.5" Scale
10" Radius
1 5/8" Nut Width
This guitar is in Near-Mint condition, showing a "factory distressed" finish and signs of careful storage. As it is an option to have these guitars aged from the factory, it is difficult to tell how much of the wear on this guitar is stock and how much has been inflicted from use. This example is curious as, from a certain angle, a shadow of a "Fender" decal is present on the headstock. This logo appears to have been sanded off and clearcoated over in the Nash build process. This guitar has been inspected by our expert tech and functions as intended. This package includes an upgraded "gold reptile" Nash hard case with all original case candy as seen in photos. This guitar is being sold AS-IS and did NOT include a tremolo bar.
