This one-owner Custom 22 was ordered from Grandma's Music & Sound in Albuquerque, New Mexico and delivery was taken early in 1998. The top of this PRS sports a gorgeous quilted 10-Top and celebrates the natural beauty of the wood in a deep Tortoise Shell finish. However, what sets this example apart from the countless others on the market is what it lacks: the birds-in-flight inlays. The owner opted for a stripped-back look on this PRS, and this aesthetic choice is sure to polarize PRS fans out there. A Wide-Fat neck profile is coupled with 22x Medium Jumbo frets and is topped with a stunning grain of a rosewood fingerboard and a set of PRS Phase-1 Locking tuning machines.

This guitar is in Excellent condition, showing signs of light use and careful storage. There are minor indents in the top around the bridge. There is an unusual area of finish imperfection neat the tone knob. The pickup covers have mild tarnish from age. The face of the headstock shows some minor scratches in the gloss finish. There are minor scratches on the reverse of the body which are difficult to see unless held to the light. This package includes the original hard case and all original paperwork. We have kept this instrument away from the case as much as possible, as it is known amongst the PRS community that cases of this age can cause unwanted discoloration of the instrument.
