Rickenbacker 350/V63 2022 - Fireglo
from archived Sweetwater page:
It’s never too late to join the British Invasion. Your weapon of choice? The Rickenbacker 350V63 Liverpool semi-hollowbody electric guitar, of course. While the 350V63 is optimized to deliver the sound and playability that today’s guitarists demand, it’s based on the legendary 325 series guitars that set the world on fire in the early 1960s. At Rickenbacker’s California factory, the company’s elite luthiers have crafted a meticulous re-imagining of an instrument that helped change the course of music history, updating the traditional design to full-scale size and performance. Three vintage single-coil Toaster Top pickups supply the 350V63 Liverpool’s epic chime and grind, while solid black knobs, replica tuners, and a trapeze tailpiece harken back to an era that’s gone but not forgotten.
All-maple construction for a bright tonal foundation
The Rickenbacker 350V63’s semi-hollowbody and neck are made from high-grade maple. Maple’s density is partly responsible for the 350V63’s famous top-end jangle and shimmer. Maple is also very stable, aiding in maintaining the structural integrity of the neck. You simply can’t replicate the special magic of a Rickenbacker any other way. The guitar’s thick rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of visual and sonic warmth to this premium instrument.
Vintage-style pickups and hardware
Loaded with a trio of vintage single-coil Toaster Top pickups, the Rickenbacker 350V63 sounds as clear and iconic as you’d expect. With the neck and middle pickup wired together, the guitar’s controls act as if they're controlling a dual-pickup model. And in classic Rickenbacker fashion, tone shaping comes courtesy of independent volume and tone controls for each, a neck-blend knob, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. This is the sound that launched a thousand hits, and it’s yours with the Rickenbacker 350V63 Liverpool!
