Rickenbacker 650C "Colorado" 2008 - Mapleglo
The 650 model range was first released in 1994 and represents a sleeker and more-contoured modern approach from Rickenbacker while still retaining the nuance of Ricky heritage. This particular variant, the 650C "Colorado," is bedecked in chrome-plated hardware and was available in the myriad of Rickenbacker's ColorGlo colorways, as well as this natural model known as MapleGlo. A full maple neck-thru construction with maple, this example is the most MAPLE of all the Rickys available at the time, save for two contrasting walnut wings at the headstock. On the spec sheet, the Colorado contends with its contemporaries at a 24 3/4" scale and with two humbuckers sporting 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, and a simple 3-way selector. However, this comfortable shape combined with the resonant jangle this brand is known for sets the Colorado apart from any other electric guitar in its weight class.

This guitar is in excellent condition, showing signs of light use, careful storage, and some minor condition issues regarding its hard case. There are minor scratches on the reverse of the body which are difficult to see unless held to the light. On the face of the guitar near the jack area, it appears that the nylon support strap from the instrument's hard case has left a patterned impression in the clearcoat which may or may not be correctable. There are some areas on the instrument's body and neck which have taken on a greenish hue, presumably from contact with the black interior of the case. This package includes the original hard case and original paperwork as shown in photos. This instrument has been inspected and set-up by our expert tech. This guitar is being sold AS-IS.
