By pairing a solid cedar top with locally grown wild cherry back and sides, Seagull has created an acoustic-electric guitar with amazing tone - and it's fun to play, too! Wild cherry's sound lies between the mellowness of mahogany and the brightness of maple. The solid cedar top adds warmth with powerful projection. The smooth silverleaf maple neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge. The cutaway body makes the S6 + CW Cedar an ideal choice for those who play all the way up the neck.

This guitar is in Good-to-Very-Good Condition, showing signs of moderate-to-heavy playwear and careful storage. Most of the wear on this guitar is on the Cedar top, where a number of scratches, dents, and indentations have been touched up so that the bare wood does not show through. The original black pickguard has been changed to a Gibson-style "Tigershell" pickguard. The original pickup compliment has been upgraded to a LR Baggs Duet II system with microphone and piezo pickup. There are minor instances of scratches and faint beltworming on the reverse of the guitar which are difficult to see unless held to the light. Upon arrival at our shop the bridge was lifting but this has since been professionally repaired by our techs. The tip of the Headstock has some minor dents and chips and there is an area of finish wear-through on the back of the neck.
