Suhr Classic S Antique HSS Heavy Aging 2018
This Suhr Classic S was built in 2017 and includes Suhr's "heavy aging" process to the body and many parts of the hardware. Its 3-Tone Burst lacquer finish is worn-though to the wood in all the right places and is checked to aged perfection. This particular example is packed with some special features not-normally-seen on other Classic S examples. Whomever ordered this instrument opted for not only a roasted maple one-piece neck, but also a stabilized roasted alder body. Though this Classic S retains the SSCII dummy coil option found on the majority of examples, this piece packs an alternate set of pickups, with Suhr V60LP Alnico V single coils in the neck and middle positions and the Pete Thorn Alnico IV Thornbucker PAF-style humbucker in the bridge position. Your only option for a relic'd S-style doesn't always have to come from a certain Custom Shop. Be different. Make this Suhr the next Superstrat in your guitarsenal.
