Taylor Guitars is proud to offer the 114e Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar. This sleek, lightweight instrument delivers the renowned Taylor tone and playability that appeals to developing and professional players alike. At the heart of the 114e is Taylor's Expression System 2, a revolutionary pickup design providing pristine amplification. Three discrete pickup sensors are calibrated to capture the guitar's full acoustic potential. Paired with Taylor's custom preamp, the Expression System 2 produces a dynamic range of sound ideal for any venue. The 114e also features a solid Sitka spruce top and layered walnut back and sides, yielding a balanced tone with shimmering highs and tight lows. Its Grand Auditorium body delivers comfort, projection and an even response across musical styles. Outfitted with Taylor's fast, low-action neck, the 114e invites effortless fretting. As eco-friendly as it is toneful, the 114e includes a 600-denier recycled nylon gig bag.

Expression System 2 Provides Studio-Quality Amplification
The Expression System 2 is a breakthrough in acoustic amplification, faithfully conveying the 114e's nuanced tone. Three discreet pickup sensors are positioned behind the saddle, each calibrated to capture the guitar's acoustic potential. The sensors' placement allows the saddle to have full contact with the bridge, enabling the amplification of tone that would be lost in traditional under-saddle pickups. Coupled with Taylor's custom preamp, the Expression System 2 produces a dynamic range ideal for any venue—from intimate coffee shops to concert halls.

Premium Tonewoods Balance Warmth and Clarity
The 114e features a solid Sitka spruce top, prized for its broad dynamic range and crisp articulation. Layered walnut back and sides provide a stable, responsive platform for the top's tonal nuance. Together, these premium tonewoods yield a balanced acoustic voice with shimmering highs, tight lows and a focused midrange. Sleek Body Shape Delivers Comfort and Projection Taylor's Grand Auditorium body shape provides an ideal ergonomic experience for developing and professional players alike. Its narrowed waist offers comfort and playability, while tapered shoulders help project sound. The Grand Auditorium's balanced, versatile response suits an array of musical styles, from delicate fingerpicking to energetic strumming.

Fast, Low-Action Neck and Eco-Friendly Case
The 114e features Taylor's fast, low-action neck, inviting effortless fretting across the 22-fret ebony fingerboard. An eco-friendly 600-denier nylon gig bag is included for safe transport and storage. As sustainably designed as it is tonally inspiring, the 114e is an investment destined to accelerate any guitarist's artistic journey.
