Yamaha Revstar RS420 - Fire Red with Gig Bag
Lollar & Grover Upgrades
This Yamaha Revstar is in lightly-loved condition and has received some tasteful and discrete modifications to enhance both its playability and vintage appeal. The typical Revstar packs what is known as a "Dry Switch" in order to offer a different tonality to the YGD humbucking pickups. The previous owner was both a tinkerer and a tone-chaser and replaced the entire electronics compliment. Gone are the Yamaha-proprietary pickups and wiring harness. Enter instead a Master Volume/Master Tone layout with CTS potentiometers Orange Drop Capacitor and a boutique set of Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers. The tailpiece studs have been beefed up to taste and the tuning is stabilized by a set of upgraded Grover Locking Tuning Machines.
This Revstar is a steal-and-a-half and will not last long on our showroom floor. Reasonable offers will be accepted!

This guitar is in Very Good condition, showing signs of light modification as listed above, light to moderate playwear, and careful storage. There is pickwear on the top of the body and on the pickguard. There are scratches on the the top which are difficult to notice unless held to the light. There are scratches on the headstock face which are difficult to see unless held to the light. There are minor scratches on the reverse of the body, most of which are difficult to see unless held to the light, and some more noticeable located in the upper horn and cutaway.
