Ace Hanley Signature Birdseye Blood Custom Semi-Hollow 1 of 1 w/ Hard Case
For your consideration, we present a mystery beauty of a Semi-Hollow packing major firepower.
Built in 2016 by an unknown luthier, the Ace Hanley Signature Birdseye Blast is a custom-crafted instrument for a discerning player. A well-established collector of guitars, Ace Hanley combines aspects of many different instruments in the creation of this weapon of mass TONE destruction. The body consists of a solid birdseye maple top and back, with maple sides in an equally gorgeous birdseye maple veneer, al clad in what is being deemed a "Birdseye Blood" finish. The neck is a 5-piece construction of alternating flamed maple and what appears to be walnut and is capped with an ebony fingerboard adorned with Abalone & Peal V-Block Inlays. Hanley armed this semi-hollow to the teeth with a pair of high-powered Gibson Dirty Fingers Humbuckers backed with CTS pots in a 50's style wiring. A traditional gold Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and stoptail are backed by a set of Wilkinson Tuning machines, also in gold with Ebony tuning buttons. This guitar is in Very Good-to-Excellent "Player's Grade condition, showing signs of moderate play-wear and careful storage. There is pickwear on the tops of the pickup bobbins and in the picking area of the top. There is a small dented area on the edge of the guitar. There is a small dent in the tip of the headstock. There are a number of small indentations in the top and back of the guitar that may be a result of finish sink in the natural birdseye maple. There are some scratches on the reverse which are difficult to see unless held to the light. There is an impression from a previously removed sticker on the face of the headstock as well as some light scratches which are difficult to see unless held to the light.
