Mike has been a musician since the early 90’s and has since dedicated his time to amplifier design and the technology of music making.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a PHD in Computer Engineering and in the years since graduation has repaired more Fenders, Marshalls, and Mesa Boogies than he can remember. |
Mike’s focus is on understanding what someone wants from a piece of gear, how they use it, and works to tailor it to their needs. His work goes beyond just changing tubes and checking bias, he can
re-voice an amplifier to the customers tastes, change the circuit to accomplish different goals (adding master volumes, effects loops), and also blend modern technologies with vintage equipment
(like microprocessor control, channel switching, etc). He also available to develop completely new amplifiers for guitar, bass, and keyboards including speaker cabinets.
If you are interested in a repair or a custom project, Mike can be reached at [email protected].
