From Fender:
One of the most popular instruments in history, the Fender® Stratocaster® guitar is the most imitated electric guitar ever. 1957 was a landmark year for the instrument - it had evolved from its early incarnations into an archetype - and it was the high point of the maple-neck era. Features include an alder body (ash on White Blonde model), '57/'62 pickups, three-way switching (five-way switch kit included), beveled pickup magnets, ashtray bridge cover and single-ply pickguard.
Alder Body
Nitrocellulose Lacquer
One-Piece Maple Neck
Maple Fingerboard
"V" Profile Neck
21x Vintage-sized Frets
Fender American Vintage Single Coil Pickups
6-Saddle American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo
6-Inline American Vintage Tuning Machines

25.5" Scale
7.25" Radius
1.65" Nut Width
This guitar is in Excellent-To-Very-Good condition, showing signs of light-to-moderate playwear and careful storage. There are some light dents on the top and reverse of the body, with the dents on the top lightly breaking through to bare wood. There are light scratches on the body and on the reverse which are difficult to see unless held to the light. There is pickwear on the pickguard. There are some light dents in the tip of the headstock. There is an indent in the reverse near the outline of the tremolo cover from what seems to be a strap indent. The original protective sticker is still in place over the tremolo arm hole. The original tremolo arm and rear tremolo cover are missing. This package includes the original hard case, the original paperwork, the original "ash tray" bridge cover, and the original optional 5-way switch.
