The Malibu is the predecessor to Larrivee's Baker series and is a tribute to a unique custom t-style guitar, the Seymour Duncan 35. This contoured hybrid is shaped for comfort and speed and is spec'd to the 10's. The lightweight ash body -presumably swamp ash- is loaded LP-style with a pair of SeymourDuncan-Inspired Larrivee humbuckers and Tonepros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Locking Stopbar Tailpiece. A gorgeous Birdseye Maple neck is topped with a equally luscious Birdseye Maple Fingerboard, adornend with Abalone dot inlays and -again LP-inspired- a set of Kluson Tuning Machines.
