 Known for it's singing sustain and rich harmonics, the "Ram's Head" Big Muff Pi was the go-to grit box for legends like David Gilmour, Ernie Isley, and J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr.  Using only the best components, the Pink Beaver provides all the classic tones of the best Big Muffs, plus some added features!  We have included a fourth "Hump" knob that allows players to dial the midrange back into the pedal- perfect for cutting the mix during live shows or in a band setting.  In the first position, the "Hump" control gives you the classic scooped-mid sound of the original "Ram's Head" muff.  Moving the Hump control to the next position provides a mid flat response, with more volume and beef.  Next position up yields a mid-hump EQ curve, placing the pedal front and center in the mix.  Finally, the last position of the Hump control takes the tone stack out of the circuit, turning the pedal into a meaty overdrive and adding tons more output.  Muff lovers rejoice, you have found Nirvana.
