Mix in one part David Gilmour worship, two parts fuzz face, and some sexy modifications, and you have the recipe for the Lunar Fuzz. With the cool Nasa/Lunar themed graphics, this pedal reminds you that the "Dark Side of the Moon" tone is always there when you need it. That said, this pedal is not just another fuzz face clone, or attempt to copy a famous tone. The Lunar Fuzz is one of the most versatile fuzzes on the market with it's ability to range from full-fuzz saturation to crunch, to creamy smooth lines just through tweaking the five moon-looking knobs.
Controls:
Pre-gain- controls the amount of gain going into the next stage of the fuzz face. All the way left is smooth, pure, and natural. Crank this knob up to the right and unleash crunchy and fuzz saturation sounds, but be aware that the noise will go up at higher settings.
Body - a bass and lower mid control to beef up the low end. All the way left is big time bass, and turing the knob to the left will tame any flubbiness as a result of guitar/amp combinations.
Brightness - controls the thizz and sparkle on the fuzzes top end. All the way right is super bright, and turning the knob to the right rounds off the highs.
Fuzz - All the way left, soft fuzz and mild sustain. All the way right for madness. As always, adding more sustain and distortion also increases noise and compression. Tweak the Pre-Gain and Fuzz together to unlock a perfect balance of dynamics, tone, and sustain.
